During this annual meeting, don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn more about the impact of SIRPAC on the whole field of IR.
SIRPAC—the only political action committee that works exclusively for IR—puts 100% of contributions directly toward supporting the campaigns of candidates who understand and support IR-interests.
SIRPAC supports pro-healthcare and pro-IR individuals achieve and maintain public office. SIRPAC events often provide opportunities for SIR physicians to meet federal and state candidates in settings that facilitate extended conversations about interventional radiology concerns.
“It is so important that all IRs contribute to SIRPAC. Without this effort, I think there would be no one out there protecting IR reimbursement,” said Mary Constantino, MD, FSIR. “I know that a lot of folks are pulled to speak to Congressional representatives and other elected officials. We're so lucky to have folks using their connections and time to keep the ‘IR voice’ heard.”
During SIR 2023, SIRPAC donors are invited to attend a recognition breakfast on Monday, March 6, at 7 a.m. in room 132B of the Convention Center.
For those who wish to support SIRPAC, consider making a donation online today! In addition, members are always invited to host local fundraising events for SIRPAC-endorsed candidates. And as always, SIR is always looking for members willing to meet with members of Congress and their staffs to advocate for IR.
This year, anyone who makes a $250+ SIRPAC donation will be entered into a sweepstakes drawing! The grand prizes include a $500 Airbnb gift card, free 2024 SIR membership and free registration to SIR 2024. Eligible donations must be made by March 9. Visit the SIRPAC page or stop by SIR Central or the SIRPAC booth at SIR 2023 to make your donation! Note: all donors must be United States citizens.
