The Annual Scientific Meeting is where SIR memories are made. Each year, the IR community gathers for education, breaking science, hands-on experiences and unparalleled networking. Take a look back at the evolution and expansion of the annual meeting since 1975.

The meeting grows
The Film Panel
The “Film Panel” session launches at the 1999 Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando. The first Film Panel session features eight case presentations and becomes a staple at future meetings. As technology evolves, the Film Panel evolves into an interactive plenary session.
The IR destination
Now known as the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting, the meeting and programming become more technologically advanced each year while maintaining its sense of fellowship and community.
Inside the Expo
The SIR Expo Hall is always full of interesting exhibits, advanced technologies and hands-on opportunities. Designed to celebrate the connections between IRs and their corporate partners, the Expo Hall has become the go-to place for education and networking.
